Before we can arrange to remove a vehicle which appears abandoned, the police must firstly investigate and establish that it actually has been abandoned.  Once this has been established, the Council will arrange for its removal.
 
If a vehicle is parked in a dangerous position and / or causing an obstruction, this should be reported to the police, who have powers to act.

If vehicle owners wish to surrender their vehicle, the Council will arrange free collection (with appropriate supporting documentation).
